First of all welcome to all new subscribers, I’m delighted and honoured that you are here. If you want to know what to expect from me you can visit this post.
I infuse this community with love and light with the intention that all who come into this space have a positive and uplifting experience. Together we are a mighty force of beings raising consciousness for the highest good of all. And so it is.
Some things are easier to write about than others. When I find myself in the position where I’m squirming in my seat a bit, I remind myself that it’s for the greater good and I am just the messenger. This can bring up a shameful absolving of responsibility, but it means I get to detach myself slightly and you still get what is needed. I consider this a win-win.
At this point I’m wondering if I’ve shared too much, but if I took nothing personally or found it easy to talk about all the tricky stuff, not sure I would be the right person to guide you anyway!
I am on Day 3 of going deep into my stories and limitations about creativity and self-expression. Unusually I have mainly been focusing on this lifetime. After someone introduced me to Internal Family Systems this week, I believe by no coincidence, I started working with specific spirit parts at certain ages and really delving into what happened that stopped me being able to express myself. The specific incidents and the physiological and biological states it has kept me stuck in. It’s been eye-opening, exhausting and exhilarating in equal measures.
Unwanted Attention
I’m going to start by saying this is not a male bashing exercise, I just share what comes through to me and if it does, it’s for a reason. I know that there are men on my subscriber list, who definitely don’t fall into these categories and that men can also on be the receiving end of unwanted attention, so let’s just be clear, friendly and upfront about that.
I’m also not going to ignore the fact that there are women who want to bring other women down who are also out there playing there part in this wound. You’ll know it if anyone has ever stolen your idea and then got promoted or are there holding your hand when you’re in bits, but then are nowhere to be seen when you are smashing life.
I would dare to assume that at some point in your life you have received unwanted attention. The degrees at which it has mattered, affected you or how long it has stayed with you, I suspect are going to fluctuate wildly and your response at the time the same.
I do sometimes wonder if someone ‘accidentally’ leant on me with just a bit too much pressure on the tube now, which has happened to me, what would I do?
Then there is the other side of it where you go past a building site and you’re thinking will they, won’t they and then they don’t. What happens when we are expecting that attention, but it never actually comes anymore?
I recently watched something about running on dark nights and how uncomfortable women feel. The women featured had been harassed just from running through a park. It highlights one aspect where we don’t feel safe to do something that is an expression of who we are.
Then there is the online contact, which increases as your presence does and you start to share more about yourself, you are suddenly expressing yourself more and then there’s that message in your in-box, the rude comment or the argumentative response.
We might retreat for a while or want to give up or fear that we have become ‘too much’ for people. We shrink back into societal conformity and our magical message and energy is somehow lost in the post.
It’s the point at which we are about to say something, but we change it at the last minute or we feel and know something, but don’t express it for fear of offending someone, creating debate or there we go again, this time seeking too much attention, because we’re a woman. Emotional, needy, dramatic, not quite right in the head, you get the idea.
Going back to the building site where the ego can been driven by unwanted attention, relying on it as affirmation that we are attractive, good enough and externally validated. It’s the other side of the coin, the masculine and feminine, the yin and the yang.
Perhaps like me you believe that your self-expression is going to harm someone else, a relative under too much stress already, so you rein it in, you stay quiet and you retreat into the shadows.
Whatever aspect that’s popping up for you, as I suspect it is as we move towards a future where our authenticity is key, we are clearing with this healing.
It will be available for 30 days and then will be accessible in The Ancestral Cave.
I’ve decided to make the Ancestral Cave FREE for the rest of February, so if you download any resources in there they will be yours to keep.
A spiritual health note that this is a particularly powerful healing, especially if you’re doing it in the current energies of the Leo Full Moon. Take full responsibility for your own wellbeing if you choose to do this journey and practice aftercare.
Ancestral Wound for attracting unwanted attention, falsifying self-expression
Here is a list of all current events. I am holding. The event on 27th Feb is a sacred invitation to join me in my Medicine Woman Tent for celebrating a significant turning point of a multidimensional era. The Wisdom Path paid members attend for free, but you can also Pay What you Want as a non-member.
Blessings of love and light,
Louise x

Agree Louise! A beautiful reflection here. Yes, it is a fine line between wanting attention and too much attention. My nervous system needs and longs for connection yet when bombarded, especially when unwanted, it can feel overwhelming. As I consider the latter when my boundaries have been purposely ignored, it can be hard not to go into shut down, to hide. Yet for my soul's sake, I know I must rise instead. Not as a forcing motion, but an acknowledgement of my inner love.
