Oh what a lovely story! I can relate, as well. And glad your husband insisted on your visiting the doc. Maybe you should pop into to see her every once in a while, just to stay current in her mind (smiles). Something else that feels great is to soak your babies in a hot Epsom salt bath. Then pull on your special booties. 👣

Thanks Melissa, I'm glad I went in the end, for peace of mind and a quiet life at home! Oh I love Epsom Salts, haven't used them for a while so will get myself some. xx

Louise, I'm glad it was something "simple." And you now get to wear comfy booties too!

I remember being in a class with an elder. It was a more mystical type meeting. But at the end, she said to us, "women make sure to take care of your feet." I've never forgotten that.

I completely agree with that Julie, if I could give my younger self some advice it would be take better care of your feet and don't wear such tight shoes!

So happy all is well with your health, Louise! And what a lovely husband you have - I'm so glad. I wish you a relaxing Valentine's weekend with your toesies all snug and cozy in their new booties. PS - That you found such a unicorn of a doctor has renewed my hope!

Ahhh thank you so much Lori, they really have made me so happy! I know I was very fortunate with my doctor choice, I think my back up team probably had something to do with it knowing how much I hate going. 😇

Oh what a lovely read. I too get cold cold feet and can so relate to being held in cosy footwear. My favourite footwear are my beloved "sleeping socks" - which are a woolen pair of socks that are probably a wee bit too small for me (because of the way I have loved them!), however they are so so snuggly and cosy. I have even been known to wear them in bed (half on and half off!) in the middle of summer when my feet need that extra bit of "cosyness."

Warm footwear is foot-love all the way!

I've always had cold feet and hands too Sam, but as the saying goes, a warm heart! I too have a pair of trusty socks that are worn out, which I still wear, they are soooo comfortable. I do feel as though treating my feet has definitely given me some self love. xx

Bless you! A warm heart indeed. And self love! That certainly warms the heart. Sending your hands and feet some Australian sunshine. Blessings to you, Louise.

Oh please send me some sunshine Sam, it has not stopped raining here for weeks. Great for the garden, but damp on the spirit. xx

Oh what a beautiful story Louise! I sort of get what you mean by the footwear making us feeling safe. For me it was a pair of jeans. The first pair of comfortable jeans I ever owned! Life changer!
