I love the new name Louise and the poetic way you described yourself in this post... paraphrasing...having galaxies in your silver hair. I also appreciate the comments between you and Sam. We do arrive. And that needs to be honored, celebrated. While at the same time there is never one final destination... one arrival leads to the next unfurling... We seem to be constantly crossing thresholds. Beginnings turning into endings, endings turning into beginnings. And those times when we do arrive, it comes as something deeply profound, that sinks into our skin and becomes a deeper experience of what we are. Like the Magic Weaver! Congrats Louise! 💜
Thank you so much Julie, it really means a lot. I do appreciate that you and others like Sam understand what it took to get here. I don’t know what I expected, but there is a bit of an ok, what next! As well as a simultaneous deep knowing. It can almost feel like nothing, yet as you say deeply profound at the same time. Onwards we go with galaxies in our hair. xx
Arriving...the courage to end something and to begin something new. The courage to step over the imaginary line and know this is where I am meant to be. The courage to say I can pause here a moment or two, a year or two, a life time or two and get my breath, look at the view and live here, for a moment or two or more.
Julie and Louise, this conversation has been wonderful... thank you x
Thank you Sam, I am slow to acknowledge that it takes courage to keep treading this path, but I am taking time to let myself know that and that it's ok to take a moment or however long it takes to sink in. xx
The ARRIVAL...sometimes it is such a strange place to be. No longer journeying (although we will always do so). We have instead ARRIVED. And who are we now that we have arrived? Who were we before? Who are we now? And how can we merge the wisdom of both...I look forward to hearing more...
Oh this is so true Sam, I was hesitant at saying I’d arrived as like you say we are still journeying, I’ve just arrived at this particular station! I do have so many questions and I know that I have so much to share, but at the moment I am still suspended in a place that feels neither here nor there. I so appreciate your understanding, I feel like I still have so much to learn. xx
I have arrived at this station! Oh Louise, that is such a great way to say it...May I use those words too?
May the station guard gift you with all you need at this moment - maybe helping you with your luggage or finding you a lovely place to stay,
may the waiting room have a warm glowing hearth if you choose to come in here
and may, if you journey out of the station, may it be such an exquisite little village with kind and helpful folk that make you feel so welcome that you want to stay for a long time...arriving here as well as there.
Louise, you have gifted me with so much in this conversation. The visions. The pictures. My own energy shifting and opening. For there is a station I wish to go to and now you have gifted me the opportunity to do so.
This has made the arriving such a joy Sam! To know that I am held in this space with all of those comforts make it feel such a less daunting prospect. I am going to spend time with the lovely folk I find and sit and take some tea and maybe a slice of cake. May you find the same welcome when you arrive at your own station. I would love to hear about it xx
