I, too, listened while walking this morning and it was so lovely! I really loved the exploration of silence especially after your post last week about finding our voice. I found myself having a clarity about the difference between keeping quiet out of fear and being with the beauty of silence. Two very different energies. Thank you so much for this wisdom, Louise!

Thank you for taking me on a walk too Jenna! My ancestors say something along the lines of this, I can't remember word for word. We do not speak unless we have something to say. Our words do not contain harm or are the cause of war, even wars of words. They are for peace, respect and honour, otherwise we remain silent.

Louise, today, I enjoyed your podcast while walking the northern shore of Lake Superior in Thunder Bay, Canada, appreciating most your words on silence, recognizing that what we utter comes from silence itself and retreats into silence--every word a meaning in the world of sound. The reflection came: What is it we are adding to this sacred world of sound out of the sacred depths of silence? Thank you for a beautiful living inquiry.

I am honoured to be your walking companion today Renee. A careful consideration of what we add and what we take away with our words is a beautiful reflection that I will sit with for a while. 💫🙏
